The Child Health Advantage Program is a vaccine purchase program that provides significant price savings on vaccines for physicians. The Child Health Advantage Program was created with the vision of providing community physicians with easy access to appropriate product portfolio, contract pricing and robust distribution.
The Child Health Advantage Program is managed by Child Health Corporation of America (CHCA). The program was created to enhance hospital relations with community physician offices.

Any physician or physician office looking to save money on vaccines and other commonly purchased products can participate in the Child Health Advantage Program.

A physician or physician office wishing to participate in the Child Health Advantage Program must complete a Letter of Participation (LOP) and fax to the Advantage Program Membership Coordinator at (913) 262-1432. For offices that wish to join without a network affiliation, a Group Purchasing Agreement (GPA) is required as well. The Child Health Advantage-GlaxoSmithKline contract provides participating physician offices with the ability to earn additional rebates by meeting a minimum threshold of purchased vaccine doses. Physicians and physician offices can purchase their vaccines directly from GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) or through one of the four contracted distributors. To purchase directly from GSK, a physician/physician office can go to gskvaccinesdirect.com. The four distributors on contract for the Child Health Advantage Program are listed below. A physician or physician office must purchase the Child Health Advantage Program contracted products from authorized distributors to receive contract pricing.

Once CHCA receives the completed paperwork, it is forwarded on to GSK, the appropriate distributor, and the local network affiliation (if the practice joins through a participating Owner Hospital network). The manufacturers and distributors have up to 30 days to process a new account, but typical activation of a new account takes 3-5 business days.
